I was given this ARC copy of this box set for an honest review, I have only read Second Chance Bride by Raine English so far but will update this review as I read the other books in the set.
Second Chance Bride is about Kya, the owner of a no kill Animal Shelter, who when looking at a venue that may be suitable for her wedding, takes a walk on the beach and rescues a pit bull, who she takes back to her shelter and starts to look for his owner, that evening she takes 'Lucky' back to her home after the trauma he has had to keep an eye on him.
That evening Mark - the Fiancé turns up and takes a instant dislike to the dog and does not stay long, after he has left 'Lucky' tells Kya that Mark is not right for her, she thinks she is going mad till she realises that the dog is using telepathy.
Lucky is in love with a Labrador called Daisy and when Kya and Lucky are at the park that evening, she meets Daisy's owner Devon and feels an instant attraction to him. This is when Kya's doubts begin to trouble her and the dogs get involved.
This novella is a quick and enjoyable read if you can deal with dogs being able to communicate.
