Theresa Romain - Season for Desire - Great Read.

I give this book 4 stars.

I just have to point out that this is the first book that I have read by Theresa Romain and I enjoyed her style of writing greatly. I love historical romances but this had more to it than just romance, it had kidnapping, deception, puzzle solving, adventure and second chance at finding happiness and of course love.

The story starts with a lady being betrayed and kidnapped and an American coming to her rescue. Herein the adventure starts, because after Giles saves Audrina she is abandoned by her father because he did not want a scandal to prevent Audrina's sister from marrying a Duke, so he forbade her to return to London till after the wedding unless she gets betrothed.

So Audrina then has to go with Giles, his father and one of his late mothers friends on an adventure to find a puzzle box that Giles mother left and they think holds the key to his late wife's fortune in diamonds, that she had to leave when she left to go to America with Gile's father.

As the story progresses, you find out all about the characters that are mentioned in this and you really feel for some of them, the story is very descriptive and you can easily see yourself there with them. There is a great mix of characters, some are easy to fall in love with, some you want to hug or in one particular case you can easily dislike.
This story holds your imagination so congratulations Theresa on a lovely romance novel, I can not wait to read your next.
