Review: Accidentally on Purpose

Accidentally on Purpose

Accidentally on Purpose by Jill Shalvis

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 3rd book in the Heartbreaker series and is about Elle and Archer.

Elle is the buildings manager where Archer has his security office, she is always immaculately put together and tough due to her childhood upbringing. Archer is the man she loves but the tension that these too create is on the hot scale and Archer has a no touch rule where Elle is concerned as he feels that she feels she owes him something due to him losing his budding young career when he saved her when they were younger.

This story involves Elles sister coming back into her life and bringing danger with her, so that Elles knight in shining armour and a stapler have to come to the rescue and the undying attraction between them.

All the books in this series have Eddie in them - he is a homeless man that they all look after by providing food, drinks and clothes and he offers them advice- I love this character.

This book is about regrets, family, putting wrongs right, friends, attraction and love. I would definitely recommend this book to romance lovers out there.

This is book 2 in the Heartbreaker bay series by Jill Shalvis.

This book is about Willa - a pet shop/groomer/walker and Keane a construction company owner. This book starts with Keane being left in charge of his aunts cat who he thinks hates him and he asks Willa to help him and look after the cat while he is out at work when he enters Willa's shop he is instantly attracted to Willa but can not understand why she seems to dislike him at first sight.

Willa is a loveable character who just want to help everyone - pets included, she is fiercely loyal to her friends and tries her best to ignore the feelings that are growing for Keane even though he does not remember her from his past.

This book is about forgiveness, second chances, friends, love and laughter, pets and great characters. I definitely recommend this series to all romance lovers out there that like great charaters.

Review: Sweet Little Lies

Sweet Little Lies

Sweet Little Lies by Jill Shalvis

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book in Jill Shalvis's Heartbreaker Bay series and it is a fantastic start.- one that draws you in to the place and makes you connect with the interesting people that live there and of course there is the fountain and Eddie.

If you want to start a new series that is thoroughly enjoyable then buy this - it is about Pru a cruise ship captain and Finn a bar owner. Pru has a major secret concerning the past about Finn that she should tell him before starting a relatiohnship but can not tell due to her growing feeling that she tries to fight and the fear of losing his friendship so this equals a great romance with a twist.

This book is about repaying debts, family, friends, laughs and love a great combination for a fabulous love story. The characters are engaging and lovable and I look forward to the rest of the series that I know will keep me entertained.

Review: Chasing Christmas Eve

Chasing Christmas Eve

Chasing Christmas Eve by Jill Shalvis

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jill Shalvis has managed to deliver once again with a fun and witty book about a sexy geek and an author. This book is about Spence the intelligent inventor who shys away from riomance due to him being an entrepenuer and expecting women to only want him for his money and for him not having time for a relationship and about Colbie who's family rely on her to do everything for them and her losing her writing muse as she is a successful author who has hit a brick wall.

The story starts with Colbie being knocked into the magic fountain - it is meant to have magic powers to grant true love and Spence rescuing her and there was instant attraction between them both. Spence generally tries to stay clear of the fountain because of the reputation of it but he can not stay away from Colbie so the story evolves with them knowing there is an expiration date on their relationship which suits Spence due to his reservations and suits Colbie because of her responsibilities too. This book has a twist that I did not know was coming and I loved it as it answered alot of questions.

This story is about friendship, family, friends and of course love, this book is a definite MUST READ for romance lovers but I recommend reading this series in sequence so you learn about all the other characters in this great series

Review: James

James James by Roxanne St. Claire
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

James Brannigan is a billionaire who runs a hedge fund now, but when James was only 12 his mother passed away and he helped his father look after his six younger brother because his father threw himself into his business after the loss of his wife to fill the void. When James got older his father showed him the value of working hard to become successful in business and this is all James has ever done - he does not have time for romance, holidays and love.

Kyra Summers grew up with a ruthless mother, who also loved to work, work, work so Kyra always felt alone in her life, so when she came of age and had the chance she began to travel the world and amongst her travels she found a little winery in Positano and fell in love with it and the family running it so she decided to stay.

When James's dad passed away he left James the winery on the Amalfi Coast of Italy, (he also left his brothers a legacy too and they all have their own stories), with what had recently happened to some of his brothers James decides to take a trip to his winery with the intentions of selling it and making a profit because money is the bottom line or so he thought until he met the bubbly woman called Kyra.

Kyra when she meets James tells him she is there to take him out to dinner, James thinks Kyra works for the hotel and does not know why but he says yes, what James did not know due to a lack in communication from his secretary is that the dinner is at the winery because the family are eager to meet the new owner. James did not know why he said yes to dinner with this woman until he realises that he is attracted to Kyra, This is unusual because always goes for the cold polished ones and Kyra is like the fizz in your bottle of champagne - full of energy and sunshine.

When James realises the mistake that has been made he still finally agrees to go with Kyra and this is the start of finding the real man inside of the business mans body.

This is a great story with the ups and downs, twist and turns of a romance that I have become to look forward to from Roxanne St Claire, she weaves a great plot and the story draws you in. There are misunderstandings in this book and you feel for the characters, as they are well thought out and feel real to you, I just loved all of them. The story is about family values, misunderstandings, trust, love, and realisation that money is not everything. I now can not wait to check out all the other brothers stories in this series (written by different authors) because if they are written half as well as this book then they will definitely be worth it.

Review: Sit...Stay...Beg

Sit...Stay...Beg Sit...Stay...Beg by Roxanne St. Claire
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a fabulous start to a new series, rescue dogs, friends, attraction and love what more can a romance lover want and need in a new book. Roxanne St Claire you have made us proud with this great new series.

This story is about Daniel Kilcannon aka the Dogfather and his family, Daniels main goal in his life now is to see his children happy after the death of his wife. The story starts with Daniel and how he is lost and needs something to do to help make his family whole again and he has an idea of bringing his family home to help him with his dog rescue and training facility and this is how his son Garrett gets his H.E.A.

Jessie Curtis is a journalist and needs a big break to get an anchor seat on TV and her big break may come by the name of Garrett Kilcannon, if she can get him to give her an interview. Jessie was friends with Garretts sister when they were younger before Jessie had to move away and they lost touch. So Jessie sets off for Waterford Farm and her blast from the past. When she arrives she finds Garrett in a kennel trying to get a new rescue dog by the name of Lola to eat, this he can not get her to do but Jessie has a magic touch with Lola and this is the start of the ups and downs of attraction, trust issues both in human and dog form, secrets, family and love.

This is one amazing book, I myself have a rescue dog so it hit home with me and I was praying for Lola to get her happy ending too. Well done Roxanne St Claire on the start of your new fabulous series, I am waiting with baited breath for book 2.

REVIEW FETTA BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES

These are FABULOUS. I love to listen to music and I wanted some headphones without a wire so that I could do my housework with out pulling the headphones out of my ears, I also wanted comfort and a good quality sound this is very important to me. They come with an auxiliary cable and charger lead (but no adapter).
Check list
1. Comfort – YES
2. Sound quality – Excellent
3. Battery life – Excellent
4. Phone talk quality – Great
5. Ease of Use – excellent
I have had these a few days now and I have used them continuously, they are extremely comfortable to wear – very light and the padding on the ear piece is very comfortable, the sound quality is exceptional ( I am very picky to sound quality) very clear and the battery life lasts for hours – I have used them for 4 hours continuously so far but then I recharged them overnight as I did not want them to run out on me while using them, I will edit my review once I have tried to see how long the battery does last.
The controls are very easy to use and you find them on the right hand side ear piece situated at the back. The first button in the sequence from top to bottom is :
1. On/Pause/Play
2. Volume down (by long press) / Song to go back to start one click or to go back to the last song double click
3. Volume up (long press, it tweets when it gets to full volume) / Song forward
4. FM radio/ MP3 player which is from the Micro SD Card slot that you will find below the buttons.
5. Phone call answer.
You can connect these headphones very easily through blue tooth by pressing the top button and it says power on – blue tooth wireless is ready to pair, have the phone/ iPod etc on to blue tooth search and then these show up as S580, click on this and then they pair . The next time you use them – they automatically pair to your device.
You can also connect them to your device by the auxiliary cable that comes with them.
Using the SD card slot is very simple too, just put your card in, select the MP3 player and use the controls as normal.
To use the FM radio press the FM radio button, then use the song forward/back buttons to tune it in.
These would be a great buy for any one, they sound fabulous, easy to use, multi functions and comfortable and the battery lasts. I would definitely recommend these as I can not fault them in any way.
